It’s 1962, Oscar winner Lillian Spencer is making a comeback on a new sitcom portraying identical twin sisters. When the 2 sisters interact, the show hires an actor to portray the “back” of the other sister. This uncredited actress is thrust into the limelight when she is nominated for an Emmy for her work as the “back.”

Kate Faye (LILLIAN SPENCER) is delighted to be joining Kick Boom Theater for Anatomy of a Back. Some of her favorite previous roles in Los Angeles include Calpurnia in Julius Caesar (Revelry Theatre Group), Barbara in Night of the Living Dead (The Group Rep), and Skyler in Breaking Bard (Porters of Hellsgate). Regional theater highlights include Cinderella in Into the Woods, Lainie in Two Rooms, and Rachel in Reckless. Kate is also a writer and a musician.
Jenny Griffin (BETTY) is a Los Angeles-based artist appearing in her second production with Kickboom Theatre. In her last role as Gail in Kickboom’s 1972, she felt right at home in the odd little worlds concocted by John Wuchte. She is a lover of the quiet, the macabre, the underdog, and the unexplained. Jenny is particularly happy in her role as Betty in Anatomy of a Back, as she spends most of her time staring at the wall. She is currently painting her entire home Baker-Miller Pink for an experimental film titled after the color. Her most recent work includes playing an evil epileptic waif in a sober-living community for the comedy series Halfway. In her spare time, Jenny completes crossword puzzles, learns how to type faster, and photographs bugs.
Michael O’Bryan Heger (JERRY) is a Midwest transplant who has been in LA for over twenty years. He graduated with a BFA from a school known for its theatre. Michael has also tried his hand at stunts, anything too be able to perform. He is greatly honored and excited to take the stage and hopes you will enjoy the performance.
Tyler Marquis (EDDIE) is making his professional theatre debut in Anatomy of a Back, a 2025 graduate of USC’s School of Dramatic Arts, he has been in recent productions of Lauren Gunderson’s I and You with the Modern Minority Theatre Company, and a new work: The Normal Force, a USC Main Stage Production. While in school he also performed in and helped found an improv and sketch comedy troupe. Since graduating, he has been working mainly in vertical dramas and independent films, while studying at The Groundling’s School. He is grateful to his friends and family for their love and support and would like to thank all those involved in Anatomy of a Back for making this such a rewarding experience.
Logan Spahitz (SEYMOUR) was born and raised in San Diego graduating with a degree in Criminal Justice before moving to LA to become an actor. He is excited to be performing in his second production on stage this year! Stage credits include: The Outsiders (La Mirada Theater), The Wizard of Oh No! (Hollywood Fringe), Pieces of Mirror, and Twelfth Night. He also had his first lead role in a feature film release last winter called American Skyjacker which can be watched on Amazon, Apple TV, and Tubi. As well as stage and film acting, Logan is also a voice actor and beach volleyball player. You can find him in Santa Monica every weekend getting some sun!
